Today we traveled inland to the area around Nizwa. We had a quick visit to the Nizwa Fort before continuing on to Jibrin Fort, which was everything we might have expected of an Arabian fort. Beautifully restored, it houses artifacts from days past and enjoys dramatic views of the plain and the mountains from the roof.
