Voyage to the Lands of Humboldt and Darwin: West Coast of South America
It was to be a long but interesting day. Once we arrived in Trujillo, our group split into three buses and headed out, each visiting Chan Chan (Sun Sun), the largest adobe city in the world. The people who once lived there had been very dependent on the marine environment for their livelihood, and this was evident from the animals depicted in the carvings on the palace walls.
