Romania: Transylvania, Maramures, Bucovina, Moldova
 Summary
Romania offers one of the last truly authentic European travel experiences. At its heart lies Transylvania, surrounded on three sides by the dramatic Carpathians, and peppered with villages whose colorful folk culture is the essence of the Romanian soul. On our expedition we'll visit the ancient province of Maramures, defined by its carved wooden architecture and needle-spired churches, and Moldova's superb vineyards and rare vintages. Throughout our journey, we'll be serenaded by spirited gypsy music, entertained by traditional dances, and treated to special regional cuisine.
