Wild Britain boasts a perfect blend of culture and natural history that includes Neolithic monuments, castles, botanical gardens, and millions of birds. Our expedition departs at the ideal time of year to visit Britain, Northern Ireland, and Scotland--in the late spring when the countryside is covered in wildflowers. Throughout our voyage we explore ruined castles and abbeys and natural wonders like the Giant's Causeway with expert leaders and naturalists.

Reports From The Field

Wild and Ancient Britain

Wild and Ancient Britain
The seabird citadels of the Isles of Noss and May, the Flannans, Staffa, and Rathlin are the refuge of some of the largest seabird colonies in Europe. Guillemots, kittiwakes, gannets, and puffins are continuously busy flying to and from the sea in an effort to feed their hungry chicks. In addition to birdlife, the spectacular geologic formations are a window into the Earth's past while Neolithic monuments, stone abbeys, and Celtic fortresses stand as mysterious testimony to the hardiness and endurance of ancient peoples.
